"Quotes From My Imaginary Inner Circle".

“Homo sapiens rules the world because it is the only animal that can believe in things that exist purely in its own imagination, such as gods, states, money, and human rights.”
~ Yuval Noah Harari

Many things we believe in are created by a person who is not that much smarter than us. That gives you the courage to have your ideas about life, but even more important, question the systems that are in place today.

Imagination is real

"Some changes look negative on the surface but you will soon realize that space is being created in your life for something new to emerge."
~ Eckart Tolle
"Wherever you are, be totally there."

I could talk about these quotes for hours. Life can give you curveballs, life can give you one bad event after the other. But if you believe that this is just temporary, that the universe has something bigger for you. Then something will emerge that you later can build on.

You have heard me talk about being present before. What would you choose, 100% of someone's presence for 1 hour or 2 hours with their 50?

I loved to just stop and take in the view.

"Life will kill you."
~ Hank Moody
"Whatever you do, don't be another brick in the wall."

One day we will die, and along the way, we will do a lot of mistakes and fail. If you already know that, why not do what we love instead? Life is a little bit longer for many of us now, but it is still too short to follow in someone else footsteps. Make your path, make your own dent in the world.

You’re born curious, and no matter how much battering your curiosity has taken, it’s standing by, ready to be awakened.”
~Brian Grazer

I fully understand that curiosity is a personal trait, but that doesn't mean that we can't be a little bit better at it each day.

"The professional does not wait for inspiration he acts in anticipation of it."
~ Steven Pressfield
“Resistance is the most toxic force on the planet. It is the root of more unhappiness than poverty, disease, and erectile dysfunction."

Many artists will probably disagree with me on the top one. During my football career, I had to believe in this quote many times. You just need to show up and the flow will do the rest.

Nowadays I use resistance as a guide. When it bubbles up too much in my life, then it's time to head straight through it.

"There is no path to happiness: happiness is the path."
~ Buddha

Thank you.
