I Promised A Winter Picture
Life update 2022-11-30
Our family now has around three months of routine life in Sweden, I am working, Miho going to school, and Jay nursery. Maybe you have heard experts talking about 90 days when it comes to making a new habit/lifestyle. Funny enough this week was the first time I heard my wife saying I starting to get used to this life and I think it's not that bad anymore. I can see that she studies hard and enjoys the time with her new friends both from school and outside. That's a relief.
Jay has also getting some friends at his nursery and he learns a couple of new Swedish words every week. Yesterday he corrected Miho when she pronounced a word wrong, that was hilarious. Being quite bad to activate him with sports lately, I hope I can get him into the swim club in January.
Our ability to adapt to a new environment is unbelievable so do not be afraid to push yourself a bit. The thing that seems so hard today will most likely be a walk in the park in a couple of months.
It's not only Jay that needs to move his body, we will see if I can write down a good new years resolution to solve that... Work is not that fun to talk about, but it pays the bills and I am very grateful for that (I need to sell some more, if you have any advice there give me a call).
How long we will stay in Sweden is uncertain, but I am truly happy that I gave my son and wife the chance to connect with me and my family on a deeper level. When embracing the Swedish culture and language. We do now have a togetherness that we always can enjoy and also use in challenges ahead.
Thank you.
