Eye And Physical Contact
I think most of us have been in the position that everything would be a little bit better if just got a hug. The question is how powerful is this? From the back of my head, I can think about comfort, love, belonging connection, and energy. I can also from my own experience tell you that being close to your son/daughter when they are small also gives you some kind of superpower. Because it would be physically impossible to do what you have to do with that amount of sleep.
After reading a little bit on the world wide web it seems that different touch gives a little bit of different result. That a little higher pressure like massage, exercise, and yoga (pressing your body against the floor) have a little bit of the same outcome and releases oxytocin. This "bonding" hormone also helps to stimulate other feel-good hormones like dopamine and serotonin. Easier touch gives a more arousing and ticklish feeling. So a hug has some great effects everything from stress relief to giving you a better performance. So do not underestimate a hug from a loved one.
It seems like it gives both the giver and the receiver benefits, so from now on I can massage my wife with good conscious.

Tiffany field has done a lot of thinking and studies when it comes to touching. One of them shows how touch gives small children both muscle and weight boosts. So for all the parents out there keep your child close.
Eye contact is a little bit more uncertain. We share a connection and "two brains can get closer to being one", almost like you can understand what the other person thinks. From some books I read, it seems like people have stared into each other's gaze starting a long time ago. Both to connect, but most important to be present with one another.
"Eye contact is way more intimate than words will ever be."

It sounds easy, just look into each other's eyes to connect and be present. Then touch to be healthy, happier, relieve stress, and perform better. I can level up in this area, how about you?
Thank you.
