Be The Reason Someone Smiles Today

Nowadays, everyone is talking about finding purpose/meaning in your work and life. Live for a higher cause and service, then you will be happier. This, of course, has put a lot of stress on people and many have started to question their chosen path. So Jack, are you saying that we shouldn't look for it?

Absolutely not, just not force it, just surrender to it. It can be a big cause, like getting everybody in the world an equal opportunity to clean water. Or an easier to grab like, I will be the best father I can be. This can of course change over time and you can have more than one. When shaping your purpose, together with coming closer to your true self. You will feel energy, wholeness, and the service you put out from this state will feel effortless.

Purpose:
how you use your experience, talents, and passions to better the lives of those around you
~ I. Peterson

My topic today is a quote from Roy T. Bennet. It's not the biggest mission in the world, but for me, it's just perfect.

It makes me smile at people when I'm strolling around. Hold the door for the person behind, keep the elevator open a little extra, and because it's connected to my purpose this action is effortless. It's now so deep in my consciousness that most days, I just go on auto-pilot.

My mission makes me start curious conversations with strangers just to try to give them a smile on their faces. It makes me want to make a sad or grumpy person happy. It also makes me tell people what I love with them and what they do great in the world.

It helps me put my phone away and give my full attention to people. When tension is too high, then my silliness and humor can bring it down.
